UNDP Vocational Education and Training System in Armenia is organizing Round Table Discussions on topics:Draft Law on Preliminary and Middle Levels of Professional Education and Draft Model for In-Service VET Teachers Continuous Training on 22-23 October, 2013 in Russia Hotel, Tsakhkadzor, RA.
In the frames of UNDP VET Project, three greenhouse workshops constrictions were initiated.Greenhouse workshops with drip irrigation system are planned to be a practical part for agro vet students in three different VET Institutions located in the country’s different agro regions: Gegharqunik Marz - Gegharqunik Regional State College, Armavir Marz - Armavir Regional State College and Ararat Marz - Masis State College.
UNDP VET project organizes PC User trainings in the period of July-August, 2013 for VET Faculty of all the Colleges of the Republic of Armenia. The program proposed by the RA Ministry of Education, to be headed by a local professional Organization and conducted in each Marz for the regional colleges’ VET instructors and specialists.
UNDP VET Project announces two position one for the the Law Expert expertised on Development of Law on Vocational Education and Training (VET) System and the other one a VET Expert expertised on Development of Law on Vocational Education and Training (VET) System.

Helen Clark, UNDP Administrator, and Minister of Foreign Affairs María Ángela Holguín of the Republic of Colombia opened the event. The conference brought together 150 participants of about 40 countries, including lead experts and practitioners from governments, academia, civil society, UNDP and other UN/development agencies from Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Latin America.
